How do you pick the characters you cosplay?
1. I love the character
2. The costume is really weird, really funny or really bad ass. (I figure I can "retire" from cosplay when I can represent all three in one costume.)
3. My friends throw me in something... because this stuff is always more fun in groups.

Can I pick one of the Godzilla-like monsters they fight instead? I've yet to experience what it's like to tromp around as an overgrown lizard. Wait... what does this say about my personality?!
One random fact:
Two of the songs I always sing at karoake are Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" and Queen's "Bohemian Raphsody". I haven't blown any ear drums yet!
