Ally : I did not see a contact link, so I hope this works - I am planning a costume very similar to Miss Aimee's Marie Antoinette in the same 1770's-ish royal style. I was wondering if you could suggest what to use/do for the hoop skirt material and construction
Lily: Hi. Awesome costumes. I really love them. I'm also interested about one little thing: Aimee, what kind of material did you use with that Esther Blanchett -costume? It stays so beautifully in shape. ^^;
Aimee [URL]: hey Ally, I'll email you, ok? but I wouldnt recommend how I did the hoopskirt. I'd say go with a pattern. There are some patterns for period hoops if you look around a bit. we did it the hard way and it SUCKED. smile
